Boys’ Soccer Reunion Honors State Championship Team from 1983

The Male High Soccer Reunion saw over 27 soccer alumni and coaches come home to Male for a great time of food and reliving their memories with old teammates. The highlight of the evening was honoring the 1983 State Soccer Champions and unveiling their State Championship Star that will remain on the concession stand to mark this great occasion in Bulldog history.

A wreath was presented and a moment of silence was taken in memory of the 5 State Championship soccer players that have lost their life since 1983. Those Alumni who have passed on are: Danny Gleeson, Christopher McCandless, Douglas Dibble, John Harrell and John Wilson. The wreath was presented by Michael Clevenger.

1983 State Championship team members in attendance were Michael Clevenger and Dave Porter along with head coach Tom Duffy and Ken Demaree. Be sure not to miss this event next year.
